About Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum
The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum, also known as the LBJ Presidential Library, is the presidential library and museum of Lyndon Baines Johnson, the 36th president of the United States (1963–1969). It is located on the grounds of the University of Texas at Austin, and is one of 15 presidential libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. The library contains approximately 650,000 photographs, 7,500 video recordings, 45 million documents, and 12,000 audio recordings related to Johnson's presidency.
