About Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum
The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum (reporting mark TVRM) is a railroad museum and heritage railroad located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was initially founded as a chapter of the National Railway Historical Society in 1960 by a group of local railway preservationists. The organization was established to preserve obsolete locomotives and railway equipment. The museum operates tourist excursions from stations in Chattanooga and Etowah, Tennessee.
