About Nassau County Museum of Art

The Nassau County Museum of Art (NCMA) is located on the former Frick "Clayton" Estate, a 145-acre (59 ha) property in Roslyn Harbor on the Gold Coast of Long Island, New York. The main museum building, the Arnold and Joan Saltzman Fine Arts Building, is a three-story neo-Georgian mansion designed by Ogden Codman Jr. around 1900 and later remodeled by Sir Charles Carrick Allom. In addition to the mansion, the 145-acre property includes the Manes Art Education Center, formal gardens, wooded trails and a sculpture garden with 43 major works on view.
