About Craig House
The Craig House is the name of a restored colonial era farmhouse in western Monmouth County, New Jersey, which was located on the site of the Battle of Monmouth during the Revolutionary War in June 1778. Utilized during the battle by the British Army as a hospital, it is one of many 18th century farmhouses that have been preserved at Monmouth Battlefield State Park. The Craig House is located in Freehold Township. Monmouth Battlefield is administered by the New Jersey State Park Service.
