About Wende Museum
The Wende is an art museum, archive, and cultural center in Culver City, California. It focuses on the history and material culture of dissident movements, civil society, and human rights advocacy in the late 20th century. Founded in 2002, the museum preserves and provides public access to cultural materials documenting nonconformist networks and resistance movements, including Solidarity in Poland and Jewish life and activism in the Soviet Union.
